The unholy communion between the biological and not-so-logical, illustrated succinctly with clips from the PRELINGER ARCHIVES. A Stepford wife demeans you with her knowing gaze, while another handles a teapot, short and stout but packed with chromium punch. It delivers what her flaming man cannot. Do you care that the siren reveals her true nature by her spasms, her sparks, her smell of ozone? The overworked invisible cyborg mimics the Israeli bulldozer corps. You are denied access to the... Sit down with a spare afternoon, a case of MILWAUKEE'S BEST ICE, a couple hundred archived CDs of Prelinger films, and this happens. You'll probably enjoy this more if you're stoned out of your mind. The movie's evocatively arranged imagery may induce low birth-weight in susceptible individuals. The MPEG1 file is VCD-ready and will look okay on your TV or computer monitor. The other formats are inferior exercises in video compression. Download them only if you must. ( 1 reviews ) Topics: Clipfilms, Prelinger Archival Footage
In a flash of creativeness, I thought of some interesting things I could do with 'Dating: Do's and Don'ts" which sort of turns everything around. Warning: Nudity and Ann sort of isn't the sort of girl you'd want to hang around now... "Trash" is a good word... ( 4 reviews ) Topics: clipfilms, Prelinger Archives

A collection of pleasantly disturbing short clips, taken exclusively from the freely downloadable movies at www.archive.org, set to a nerve-wracking original score. Music video by Cementimental. Original lo-fi animation was combined with clips from "Leave It to Roll-Oh", a public domain movie from the Prelinger Archive. Much of the raw footage was subjected to experimental 'data bending' techniques; the movie files were edited as raw text data, resulting in controlled corruption effects for a distressed sci-fi aesthetic. Other effects were created by misusing morphing software. The music was made from loops composed using the Game Boy Camera's... Every afficianado of ephemeral public-domain films is familiar with the gratuitous and ubiquitous "purple vomit sequences" that inexplicably appeared in a great number of these films over a twenty-year period. As yet, not one producer, crewmember, or actor who was involved in any of these films has volunteered a reason for these bizarre segments, most of which have been excised from prints currently in distribution. In the movie Amelie, the title character gives a list of things she loves. One of those is to find moments in movies that other people might miss. I love that too. Nudity alert. A collection of girly clips, set to a nicely bombastic piece of music. This movie is made entirely from the vintage burlesque shorts available here at the PRELINGER ARCHIVES. Every shot involves nudity or near-nudity. Do not download this movie if you are a repressed, blue-nosed freak. The files I uploaded are the VCD-ready MPEG1 and the Quicktime .mov. The MPEG1 has the best picture and sound. The Quicktime is smaller, with swooshy audio-compression artifacts and barely...
